The Number Twenty are a four-piece indie/rock band from Rayleigh, Essex (UK), formed in 2023 during their GCSE years. “Afterlife” was submitted to BBC Introducing, assigned to BBC Introducing Essex & Cambridgeshire and to BBC Radio 1 Introducing Rock, and listened to by both teams. The Number Twenty have performed regularly at Chinnerys (Southend, 400 capacity), including headline sets and major support slots, most notably stepping in at short notice to support The Sherlocks in December 2025 for Indie Cult Club. They have also performed at Hot Box (Chelmsford), Camden Assembly, The Dublin Castle, and other grassroots London venues.

They are booked for the Indie Cult Club Weekender Festival at Leigh Brewery (29 August 2026) and continue to seek festival placements, curated showcases, and touring support opportunities.

Musically, The Number Twenty are influenced by Arctic Monkeys, The Cure, Oasis, Jeff Buckley, Catfish and the Bottlemen, and The Courteeners. Their sound blends modern British indie-rock energy with melodic guitar interplay and emotive lyrical delivery.
